which began on Hilton Head Island in January 1992, is a nonprofit
charitable food distribution project, committed to eliminating
hunger and developing collaborative strategies that encourage
self-reliance in areas in which we serve.
Second Helpings, Inc. distributes
more than 1 million pounds of food and grocery products each
year. This food goes to over 65 agencies (agencies are varied,
and all are non-profit) in the 3 county region (Beaufort, Jasper,
Hampton) of Southeastern, South Carolina.
